The ‘Bicycle Polo European Championship’ is an annual competition involving club teams from Ireland, England, Scotland and France. The competition is organised by the respective associations and is the most prestigious club trophy in the sport. The competition was launched in 2007 to provide a new level of cross-border competition. The tournament is held from April to September with France, Ireland and Britain each hosting a stage.

The International Bicycle Polo Championship, contested by national teams will be held in the USA during September this year. The competiton is organised by the sports governing body, the International Bicycle Polo Federation (IBPF).
